This is an internal class that should not be used outside EPrints::Database.

Unique identifier for this message.
datestamp (timestamp)[edit]
The time when this message was created.
type (set)[edit]
The type of message.
message (longtext)[edit]
The contemts of this message.

userid (itemref)[edit]
The user for the whom this message is intended.

get_system_field_info[edit]
$fields = EPrints::DataObj::Message->get_system_field_info
Returns an array describing the system metadata fields of the message dataset.
get_dataset_id[edit]
$dataset = EPrints::DataObj::Message->get_dataset_id
Returns the id of the EPrints::DataSet object to which this record belongs.
