Installation Tips: Fedora Core 4

At the Installation Type step, choose Workstation.

At the Security Configuration step, tick Remote Login and Web server and disable SELinux (or set it to warn).

At the Package Installation Defaults step, select Customize software packages to be installed and add Web Server and MySQL database to the list.

Installation Tips: Fedora Core 5

At the Software Selection step, tick Software Development and Web Server, and select the Customize now option.

At the Customizing the Software Selection step, select Servers then tick MySQL Database.
