Connect Editors and Authors with a PHP form

If you write an e-mail on a static web page, you are sure to recive a huge ammount of spam. But we want to allow authors to write to the editor of his country. To do this, Josep-Manuel Rodríguez-Gairín wrote a PHP form to 'protect' editors e-mail addresses.

The script sends a mail to a list of addresses defined in a config file (for general purposes as main page) but also can send mail to a specific editor searching your email in users table of eprints database. It can use the SQL 'users' table and also an extra list of e-mail.

The syntax is

http://xxx.yyy.kk/contact.php?editor=id_of_the_editor

There is a javascript email pre-validation and php post-validation. There is also a check against spam robots.

You can download the script from here: http://eprints.rclis.org/fixsoft/eprints_contact_form.zip
