Transitioning from IRUS to OpenAIRE Usage Counts

  1. Register your repository in the OpenAIRE Provide service
  2. Install EPrintsOpenAIRE export extension (v1.1.0+)
    1. Bazaar: https://bazaar.eprints.org/1309/
    2. Ingredient: https://github.com/eprintsug/EPrintsOpenAIRE/releases/tag/v1.1.0-ingredient
    3. EPM / Git Repo: https://github.com/eprintsug/EPrintsOpenAIRE/releases/tag/v1.1.0-epm
  3. Make sure repository is getting harvested in OpenAIRE Provide (TODO (JS): screenshots of process, run limited harvest first!!)
  4. Install tracker NB we need to consolidate these (which are in approx. chronological order):
    1. https://github.com/Rudjer-Boskovic-Institute/EPrints-OAPiwik
    2. https://github.com/openaire/EPrints-OAPiwik (forked from the above)
    3. https://github.com/alex-ball/EPrints-OAPing
    4. https://github.com/eprints/EPrints-OAPiwik I think this is where the official release will live?
  5. Check data is being received - OpenAIRE is only updated monthly
  6. remove/disable IRUS tracker
