log.pl contains configuration for how warning/error messages should be logged to the webserver's log files or standard error ouput more generally.
$c->{loghandler}->{enable}- This enables/disables logging to the webserver log files.$c->{log_submission_timing}- This enables an additonal archive level log file for analysing the timings of users as they make their way through the submission process.$c->{show_timestamps_in_log}- This includes timestamps in logged messages.$c->{log}- The function for how log messages should be output. Typically this is just output the message to the standard error output (i.e. STDERR).
