As of EPrints 3.4.4, it has become possible to add additional recipients to receive results from saved searches. This is not enabled by default. There are two configuration changes required to enable this:

  1. Add the following configuration setting to a file in your archive's cfg/cfg.d/ directory: $c->{saved_search_additional_recipients} = 1;
  2. Add the additional_recipients field to a copy of the workflows/saved_search/default.xml in your archive's cfg directory.

Once you have made these changes and reloaded the webserver, you can add comma (,) separated email addresses to the Additional Recipients field for saved searches. This will send out the same email to these extra email addresses as will be sent to the email address of the user who created the saved search.
