Who owns the copyright?

EPrints is copyright University of Southampton. Some Perl libraries are included and are the copyright of their respective authors.

What is the license?

Since EPrints 3.3, binary files (bin/ cgi/) are released under GPLv3 and all other files undef LGPLv3. Before 3.3 all EPrints files are GPLv3.

Will you release under other Licenses?

We have the option, but currently have no reason to. Contact us if you need a copy under a different licences.
