This button will only be present in the '''System Tools''' menu if the EPrints Indexer is not already running. This is determined by whether there is a file called at &lt;tt&gt;EPRINTS_PATH/var/indexer.pid&lt;/tt&gt; and the process for the ID it stores is still running.<br /> <br /> == Force Start Indexer ==<br /> This button forcefully starts the EPrints Indexer.
